The DSPA 1216 Plus stands out with its robust built-in amplifier, delivering up to 80W per channel across eight channels and 150W per channel across four channels. In bridging mode, it reaches 200W per channel for two channels, ensuring your subwoofers and woofers, along with high-end speakers, produce rich and immersive 360° surround sound. The unit also features 16-channel RCA outputs, supporting a range of future upgrades, making it a future-proof addition to any vehicle.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with luxury vehicles like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and more, the DSPA 1216 Plus ensures the original car speakers reach their full potential. It includes high-end components such as a Class D amplifier and Bluetooth® 5.0 with support for advanced audio codecs. The processor allows for precise audio customization with a 31-band EQ, crossover frequency, slope adjustments, and time alignment delays, catering to individual preferences for a superior listening experience. Additionally, its Error Protection System and navigation mix feature guarantee uninterrupted, high-quality audio output, further enhancing the user experience.
To create and configure your audio system, Goldhorn DSPA 1216 Plus is equipped with everything you need: digital optical TosLink and coaxial Coax inputs with support for 192 kHz / 24 bit (only one is used, selected via software), 16 high-level inputs, 2 RCA AUX inputs (used instead of 15 and 16 HiLevel channels), 16 RCA outputs with a voltage of 5.6 volts, 8 channels of D-class amplification with a maximum power of 80 W / 4 Ohm for connecting acoustic systems and 4 channels of D-class amplification with a maximum power of 150 W / 4 Ohm, for connecting powerful midbass speakers or 300 W / 4 Ohm in a bridged connection for subwoofers. For precise adjustment, a 31-band equalizer is available for each of the output signals, a 5-band equalizer for correcting the incoming signal, advanced crossover settings and time delays. For high-quality signal transmission from your portable devices, the Goldhorn DSPA 1216 Plus has a modern Bluetooth 5.0 module with support for aptX HD / aptX / AAC / SBC codecs.
If you delve into its technical specifications, you can find that the DSPA 1216 Plus has much more functionality than it might seem at first glance. 12 of the 16 RCA outputs have their own DSP settings that do not overlap with the DSP settings for the 8 channels of the built-in amplifier. The other 4 channels have settings common to the RCA outputs and the built-in amplifier. These channels are listed as high-power amplification channels and can operate in a bridged connection.
That is, The Goldhorn DSPA 1216 Plus processor amplifier can rightfully be called a 24-channel processor with a built-in 12-channel amplifier.
Thus, you can build an incredibly advanced audio system using 12 channels of the built-in amplifier and adding up to 12 channels of external amplification. In this case, each of the channels will have its own DSP settings.
Separately, it is worth noting the Navigation Mix function, which provides integrated sound, allowing you to simultaneously listen to navigation prompts without disturbing the integrity of the music.
On the front panel there are 16 RCA outputs for connecting external amplifiers. On the left panel there is: a block of outputs for connecting speaker systems and Rem Out signals, a USB-B connector for connecting to a PC, a remote control connector and a four-channel terminal of the high-power amplifier output (with the possibility of a bridge connection). On the right panel there is a power terminal for connecting the power supply (up to 4 Ga), operation indicators, a switch for activating automatic switching on when working with a high-level signal, a high-level input signal connector (the signal presence sensor is located on the in1+ / in1- channels), 2 x RCA AUX inputs, optical TosLink and Coaxial input connectors. A separate connector is provided for connecting an external Bluetooth antenna.
If you are just starting to upgrade your car audio system or want to improve your current audio system, the Goldhorn DSPA 1216 Plus is an impeccable choice. This is not just an amplifier with a built-in sound processor - it is a gateway to an unrivaled sonic journey, ensuring that every note and nuance of your favorite tracks is transmitted with maximum accuracy and quality.
Enhance the sound quality in your car with the advanced Goldhorn DSPA 1216 Plus processor amplifier.
Features of Goldhorn DSPA 1216 Plus:
Input capabilities:
The following functions are available for each input channel:
Level control;
Polarity change;
Frequency response correction using a 5-band parametric equalizer (Peak, HS, LS) with a choice of frequency, Q factor and level;
Signal delay correction in 0.02 ms increments (maximum 10 ms);
Output channel capabilities:
The following functions are available for each output channel:
Level control;
Frequency response correction using a 31-band parametric equalizer (Peak, Hi-Shelf, Low-shelf, Allpass-filter) with a choice of frequency, Q factor and level;
Crossover cutoff level adjustment (Butterworth, Linkwitz, Bessel) 6 – 48 dB/oct;
Smooth phase adjustment at the crossover cutoff frequency;
Polarity change;
Signal delay correction in 0.02 ms increments (maximum 20 ms);
Channel group combination for level/equalization/delay change;
(both absolute and relevant group changes are available for level and equalization, 8 different groups are available for delays);
Signal source switching options:
Classic, using the remote control;
Priority of the optical TosLink or Coaxial input;
Priority of Bluetooth;
NaviMode (mixing of service signals with the ability to adjust the sensitivity level, level and "attenuation" time of the main source);
Signal detection function:
Automatic switching on/off of the device upon the appearance/disappearance of a high-level signal occurs provided that channel 1 is used (signal detection only on this channel). To activate the automatic switching on mode, there is a switch on the device body, and to adjust the signal level required to turn on the device and the delay time for turning it off, you must use the corresponding software menu.
Dynamic Loudness Control (DLC) System. Dynamic Volume Control
With the Dynamic Volume Control function, you can compensate for the dynamic volume of the standard head unit or create your own profile.
Many OEM head units automatically increase the levels of low and high frequencies at low volume levels and automatically reduce them at high volume levels. With the DLC function, you can compensate for changes in sound, depending on the volume of the input signal. Also, with this function, you can adjust the sound of low and high frequencies at different volume levels, as you want. With the Dynamic Volume Control function, you can now decide for yourself whether something should be adjusted dynamically and when to do it!
The Dynamic Loudness Control function is available for all input sources available in the device and is configured individually. (RCA, HiLevel, Bluetooth, TosLink or Coax).
SkyAtom function
The powerful and functional SkyAtom tool will allow you to create a unique and exciting, in its sound, audio system of the highest class in your car. Thanks to the wide settings and powerful computing processes, you can easily turn a stereo signal into a surround, stunning concert hall effects. Using the SkyAtom functionality, you will complement your system not only with a central channel, but also with effect speakers (Surround Sound), and with the help of additional flexible settings, the SkyAtom system will expand the front sound stage without violating the integrity of images and focus.
Wired remote control capabilities (optional):
Volume control;
Source / preset selection;
Subwoofer level control.
